Hanna Brothers was contracted to provide boxed lunches to support the FEMA disaster relief operation in the wake of Hurricane Katrina which struck the Gulf Coast in September of 2005. The catering company deployed its Disaster Relief Response System to quickly scale boxed lunch production to accommodate 750,000 meals out of its Slidell, LA commissary.
